Kevin O’ Connor BIO
Kevin O’Connor is the CEO of FindTheBest, a company he co-founded in 2009 with the objective of building a research hub to help users make the best-informed decisions. Kevin has a unique perspective on business, having sat on both sides of the venture capital table as an entrepreneur and venture capitalist himself. From 2001 – 2009, on a break from building his own companies, Kevin started O’Connor Ventures, a VC firm that specializes in technology startups–an area he is well-versed in.
Kevin was the founder, CEO, and chairman of Internet advertisement-technology giant, DoubleClick, which sold to Google in 2007 for $3.1 billion. Prior to Doubleclick, Kevin founded and served as the VP of Research for Cincinnati-based Intercomputer Communications Corporation (ICC), which was acquired by DCA in 1992. Kevin remained with DCA as the vice president of research until 1995 when he left to found DoubleClick. Kevin has sat on a number of public, private, and non-profit boards and was the wrestling coach at Moeller High School from 1988 – 1992. Kevin graduated from Detroit Catholic Central High School in 1979 and went on to obtain his Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with honors from University of Michigan in 1983. Kevin is an avid skier and surfer and loves pulling a good prank on the team.
